This handbook is designed to acquaint you with the company and provide information about working conditions, employee benefits, and policies affecting your employment.


1. Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide reliable, high-quality lawn care and landscaping services to our clients, creating beautiful and sustainable outdoor spaces. We are committed to professionalism, customer satisfaction, and a safe work environment.


2. At-Will Employment

Your employment with Taco Man Lawncare LLC is voluntary and is subject to termination by you or the company at will, with or without cause, and with or without notice, at any time.

4. Code of Conduct

  • Appearance: Employees are expected to wear company-provided uniforms and maintain a neat and clean appearance.
  • Safety: Adherence to all safety policies is mandatory. Safety is everyone's responsibility.


5. Work Schedules and Attendance

Work schedules will be provided by your supervisor. Punctuality is expected. If you are unable to report to work, you must notify your supervisor at least [e.g., 2 hours] before your scheduled start time.


6. Timekeeping and Payroll

All employees are responsible for accurately recording their work hours using the company's time clock system. Pay periods are [e.g., weekly, bi-weekly], and paydays are on [e.g., Friday].

We follow an equal pay for equal work system. Pay scale is as follows:

7. Safety Procedures

  • Equipment Handling: Only operate equipment you have been trained and authorized to use. Always perform a pre-operation check.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): PPE, such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection, must be worn as required for the task.
  • Accident Reporting: Report any work-related injuries or accidents, no matter how minor, to your supervisor immediately.


8. Use of Company Property

Company vehicles, tools, and equipment are to be used for business purposes only. You are expected to take care of company property and report any damage or malfunction to your supervisor.


9. Confidentiality

All company information, including client lists, pricing, and business practices, is confidential and should not be shared outside the company.


10. Acknowledgment of Receipt

I acknowledge that I have received a copy of the Taco Man Lawncare LLC Employee Handbook. I understand that it is my responsibility to read and comply with the policies contained in this handbook.
